THEATRE OF WOMEN is an exhibition of a series of limited edition hand-coloured etchings and collages. A number of these prints are based on a series of earlier works inspired by Simone de Beauvoir’s classic, The Second Sex. With these prints Carolyn processes and integrates her personal experiences and observations into her art with the message that gender equality issues are as relevant for women today as ever.
The show runs from January 30 to February 18, 2018. There will be a private viewing on Tuesday, 30th January from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm., otherwise viewing is by appointment.
