Bousfields Inc. commissions art by Jeff Jackson
Bousfields Inc.is one of the pre-eminent community planning firms in Ontario. Jeff was commissioned to create an original artwork consisting of a landscape triptych in red on wooden panels, each 5’ wide by 3’ high hung side-by-side to covering an area 15’ wide by 3’ high.
The finished painting is installed in the entranceway to their Toronto office.

The talk about Talk Talk is it’s out!
James Marsh’s Spirit of Talk Talk is available now. It’s a beautifully designed, richly illustrated book celebrating the music and art of the legendary British band, Talk Talk.
James Marsh has brought together all of the great cover art work that he produced for Talk Talk in the 80’s. The book feature James’ original cover art and concept sketches, hand written lyrics from Mark Hollis, Talk Talk’s lead singer, as well as various ephemera, posters, and related commentaries. The publisher, Rocket 88 created a website to about the book. Visit the Spirit of Talk Talk to purchase a copy.

Barbara Klunder continues her support of the Toronto Blues Society. She has illustrated their latest CD, Toronto Blues Now. The fifteen track CD features Paul Reddick, Downchild Blues Band, David Wilcox, Jack de Keyzer, Suzie Vinnick, Harrison Kennedy, Treasa Levasseur, Fathead, Rita Chiarelli, Steve Strongman, Julian Fauth, catl., Diana Braithwaite & Chris Whiteley, The 24th Street Wailers, and Shakura S’Aida.
Listen to some of Toronto’s best blues recording artists and hear a sweet sample of the sounds being created in our vibrant blues music scene. The CD is available online from the Toronto Blues Society and at select music shops across the country.

CHEEZ was originally a monthly drawing published in Canada’s Exclaim Magazine over a ten year period from 1992 to 2002. The work is currently available every week as part of Index G’s Monday ArtPost where Fiona continues drawing CHEEZ with the same numbering sequence.
A collection of the first one hundred strips was published as CHEEZ 100 by Pedlar Press in 2001.
October 24, 2012Time for the sixth annual Touched By Fire show and sale.
Touched By Fire is a non-profit program to celebrate, support, and inspire the work of artists living with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
The show is Thursday, November 15, 2012 and the walls will be covered with paintings and photographs selected by a panel of judges from over 400 entries.
